Produced only in exceptional vintages, this cuvée was named in honor of the winemaker’s grandfather. It is the original blend — the very first cuvée of the Täuninger series. Crafted from equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah, this wine is full-bodied, harmoniously balanced, and remarkably complex, with many years of aging potential ahead. Serving Suggestions: Pairs beautifully with roasted red meats, braised lamb, or hearty stews, and also complements aged cheeses and rich, flavorful dishes.
