Büszkeségünk a Täuninger Cabernet Sauvignon

This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from 22-year-old vines on the loess and limestone soils of the Nyéki Hill, which lend the wine its distinctive character. Hand-harvested on October 23rd, the healthy, fully ripe grapes were fermented in 10-hectoliter open vats with manual punch- downs. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged for 14 months in 225-liter first- fill Hungarian oak barrels, then matured for another year in bottle before release.
The wine shows a deep ruby color with violet highlights. Its bouquet is intensely aromatic, with notes of blackcurrant, violet, dried plum, and dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and complex, with velvety tannins. Layers of dried black forest fruits, a hint of eucalyptus, and refined oak spice create an exciting and memorable expression.
Award: In 2024, this wine was honored with the VinAgora Champion Award — recognized as both the Best Red Wine and the Best Cabernet Sauvignon of the competition. Serving Suggestions: An excellent choice for grilled or roasted red meats, braised beef dishes, or rich game stews. It also shines on special occasions, making it a perfect companion for celebratory dinners, intimate gatherings, and long, thoughtful conversations over a glass of wine.
