BIKAVÉR 2021

Our Bikavér is a bold yet refined expression of the Szekszárd wine region, distinguished by the unique addition of Syrah from our own vineyards. This vibrant variety, paired with a hint of Kadarka, adds layers of spice and character to both the nose and the palate. Anchored by Kékfrankos (45%), the blend is artfully completed with Merlot (15%), Cabernet Franc (15%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), and just the right touch of Syrah (5%) and Kadarka (5%). The result is a harmonious and captivating wine with unmistakable depth and regional identity.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour and a rich, velvety structure. On the nose, ripe dark fruits and spicy notes unfold beautifully, while the palate reveals depth, harmony, and fine tannins. Aged just enough to soften its structure while preserving freshness, this wine offers a long, balanced finish that makes every sip memorable. This Bikavér pairs beautifully with rich meat dishes like marha pörkölt (Hungarian beef stew), grilled lamb, venison, or spicy goulash.
